I love Massive Attack! That's one of my favorite songs. :) And that Will Ferrell video is hilarious. It cracks me up every time I watch it. Pearl is just too cute.♥

So today the kids and I are going on a picnic! Just down the street to the park, but it'll be nice to get out of the house. I just hope it's not too, too hot out there. Yesterday was great! It was insanely hot, but we were playing in the water the whole time, so it was fine. Raven kept freaking out about all the bees being so close to us. There were an awful lot of them around, but they won't bother you, if you don't bother them. One kept landing on my head and I thought she was going to have a heart attack!!! LOL!! After I put Lex down for his nap, I asked her to help me in the yard. I had her water the flower beds, while I pulled weeds. At some point a bumblebee landed on my hand and I said....."Raven....LOOK!! It's that cool?!!!".......I thought she was going to pass out, but instead, she just look at me and said......"Are you crazy?! You could die if he stings you!!!!" WHAT?! LOL!! She was stung once and had to go to the hospital because she is slightly allergic, not deathly allergic, where ever the bee stings her swells up really, really bad. Her hand looked like someone had inflated a rubber glove. While we were at the hospital she overheard someone mention that it runs in the family and the other person was deathly allergic to bees. She thought they were talking about me, that's why she was so upset. Now, how she remembered that, I don't know, she was only 5 when she was stung and had to go to the hospital. She can remember stuff from when she was 2! It's amazing. Anyway, she was very relieved when I told her I wasn't allergic to bees. She still thinks I'm crazy for letting it sit on my hand. I don't mind, it's not going to hurt me.❤

I have a few things to do before we leave, so I better go. Lex is refusing to wear clothes so I have to get him dressed again. LOL! He can get out of anything. Right after I got him dressed for bed last night, he ran off, took all his clothes off and barged into Raven's room naked! HAHAHAHAAA!! I thought Raven was going to die laughing. He's so cute!❤

Thank goodness the weather is nice! The weekend sucked. Blah! So today we all went to the park. Lex was a riot!.He was "talking" nonstop the whole time. Of course, none of what he was saying made any sense, but it's till cute. :) He walked right over to the slide, looked back at us and said something, then went right up the stairs and down he went!! HAH!! SO adorable! I thought Raven was going to pee herself she was laughing so hard. My friend Laurie was there with her 3 kids and we just sat there watching her son, Nick, lead Lex all over the park to play. Nick kept saying..."I'm going to help the baby now, Mom!!"...HAHHAAA!! Lex did so well! Even if he fell, he'd get right back up and keep going. His favorite thing to play on was the slide. He kept going right back over to it. It's great because Laurie has 2 girls, 7 & 10 and her son is 2. So Raven and her girls play with the boys while Laurie and I sit and chat. Kevin ends up following the kids around and taking pictures with his camera phone. I never have my camera with me any more, I always forget it at home. Anyway! Here's a few pictures from today.......

Kevin's phone takes great pictures! I love it! We just finished dinner and now we're getting ready to sit down and watch Arthur And The Invisibles. I can't wait to see it, it looks really cute. :) I'm off for family time now!

It was great! Raven was invited to a slumber party Friday, so she came home from school, did her homework, did her chores, played with Lex for a bit and then she was gone! :) Saturday morning Kevin took me and Lex out to breakfast at The Cracker Barrel. YUMMY!! I love that place. After breakfast we went to Linens-N-Things to get a few chairs for the deck. Then we headed over to Pier 1 to get some of my favorite candles and while we were there Kevin bought me a new set of canisters. Look at how awesome these things are.........

We got the green ones and we also got the matching foot stools. They are so comfy!!!!! We needed something for everyone to sit on, we had nothing! LOL! All the patio sets we've looked at were kind of ugly, so we haven't gotten one yet. I guess they don't cater to the morbid when it comes to patio furniture. LOL!! We like crazy looking stuff like gargoyles and grotesque.......and they just don't make stuff like that around here. We may have to look online. Anyway! Later on that day a friend of mine came over and we sat outside drinking wine and laughing all day. Kevin took Lex out to get a new pair of sandals so Kym and I could have some "girl time". It was nice. :) After she left Kevin and I made dinner and we sat around watching movies with Lex. He loves Shrek!!! He did not take his eyes off the t.v. once during the whole movie. The boy goes insane if he sees Shrek somewhere! He'll squeal and point then he'll "talk" to whatever it is that has Shrek on it for the longest time. So cute! ♥ That night I went to bed early because my whole family was coming over on Sunday, so I needed the sleep. :) We got up bright and early Sunday morning to go shopping for a few things. Raven talked us into getting Grease and Grease 2. -_- I hate those movies, but if she wants a movie, Kevin will get it for her.....all she has to do is ask. :) When we got home and my sister was pulling in at the same time as we were. HAH! She drives way too fast. We just sat around talking and playing with the kids. After we ate we walked to the park for a while. It was beautiful out, but it was a bit windy. We wore the kids out!! Lex slept till 7:30 this morning. I actually had to wake him up so we could take Raven to school. He wasn't happy about that. Anyway! I got a few nice things that I've been wanting and a few things I wasn't expecting. Kevin and Raven got me some new earrings from Lucky Brand, I love their stuff! I also got some new slippers and a gift card to the mall so I can get some Summer clothes. Everything I have is too big for me now. :/

That was my weekend. It was sooooo nice and relaxing. I can't wait to do it again next weekend! Kevin is going away for work and my Mom is coming up to help with the kids. I was thinking of having some of my girl friends over Saturday afternoon and just hanging out. Raven would love that!! She loves hangin' with the girls. :) Ava took her to get a manicure and a pedicure last week and Raven was in Heaven! I've had all the same friends since Raven was 2, so they all treat her as if she were theirs. Especially the girls who don't have kids. LOL! They come to me to get their "kid fix". LOL! And Raven is so well behaved and mature for her age, so they love having her around. :)

Ok. Gotta got get ready for our Playdate. Oh yeah! I forgot to add that Lex and I had a playdate on Friday! OMG it was so much fun! All the Mothers were nice and all the kids got a long so well. Lex played like a big boy and he was so good about sharing. So we have another one to go to today at Noon. YAY!!! I don't take pictures while we're there because of the other kids. I don't think the moms would like that too much. LOL!! Ok. I'm off!

♥ Tired & Sore

I totally forgot that I had my yearly exam today! Thank goodness I looked at the calendar and saw that I had to be there at 4 p.m.! We were outside all day playing and exploring our new gardens. It's so nice to have lots of windows, so when we came inside, it was nice and cool. :) We picked Raven up from school then went to get ice cream. Lex ate so much!! I don't know where he puts it all! He's a big boy, but he's not that big!! LOL!

So...........my appointment. They took about a gallon of blood (not really hehehe) and he made me get a tetanus shot. Boo! Other than that, all is well, except........I have to see a sleep expert. My doctor thinks I have sleep apnea. Boo! That means I'll have to do a sleep study (fine by me!), which is done at the hospital (fine by me!), which also means I'll have to be there from 5 p.m. till 9 a.m. the next morning (again....FINE BY ME!!! LOL!!). We'll see what happens. Kevin has been saying that's why I'm so tired all the time, I'm not sleeping well at night. He should know, he sleeps right next to me. I'm kind of looking forward to it, just to know what's going on. If they find out that I do have sleep apnea and fix the problem, I may not need my Effexor anymore. YAY!!! My doctor thinks my lack of sleep causes my mood swings. I can see that. :)

That was my day. Pretty relaxed and nice. I did get around to re-potting 2 of my oprchids that were in dire need of it. Now, if they survive, then I'm good. ;) I really hope they thrive because losing a plant/flower is no fun. They're like my babies and I love them. We'll see if I'm as good as I hope I am.

I better go get ready for bed. I really don't think I'm going to be able to watch LOST tonight. It comes on SOOOO late. :( We'll see.

: Busy, Busy, Busy!!! :

We were so busy today. We were outside for most of the afternoon. Lex got to play with his new toy (see pictures below) and Raven got to jut hang out and get wet. They had such a good time. :) Of course, I had to take little man in for a bath when he decided to climb into the thing and play. He was soaked and cold! Even though I put warm water in it, it got colder after being outside for over 2 hours. :/ We had fun though!

::Just got home from school and already getting splashed! LOL!::

As you can see, he got all wet and dirty and needed a bath. He's such a goofball in the bath tub. He likes to put his head under water or he'll lay on his right side and listen. See.........

SILLY!!! LOL!!!!!! Boys are so much more different than girls. Raven never did stuff like that. She was silly, but not silly like that. Know what I mean? LOL! He's so adorable though. I love him.

Now......about my garden. I have no idea what is growing out there, but these things really baffle me! Here, I took a picture.........

I have no idea what they are. Yes, I could go searching, but I really don't feel like it. I'm too tired. I swear....the sun is so bad for you. My shoulders hurt from being outside today and I had sunblock on. I'm not messin' around! I put so much sunblock on, it's not even funny. Having a "healthy glow" is just fine, but I don't want skin cancer. A friend of mine never wore sunblock, ever....she kept saying......"Oh I'm fine. I tan naturally. I never burn."....do you think Mr. Skin Cancer gives a shit if you never burn?! NO! She has skin cancer and she's only 29. Cover up. Wear sunblock and be careful. The Sun isn't what it used to be 10 years ago.

I'm about to go watch 24 with my hubby, then it's bedtime. I'm beat! Before I go, I'll leave you with some cuteness......

::Watching My Son Sleep....

Is one of the things I look forward to every day. Not because I want him to sleep, but because he's so damn cute when he sleeps. He's a wild sleeper, just like me. We both fling our bodies all over the bed, taking up as much space as we can. Poor Kevin gets kicked nightly. LOL! Raven, on the other hand, is a calm sleeper, but she wakes up rough. You know.....she flails about like she has no idea what's going on. Too funny.

As I sit here writing out this entry (my 3rd of the day! wootwoot!), I'm enjoying a nice, big glass of ice cold water. I love water. I drink more water than anyone else I know. I also tend to leave half full glasses all over the house, which drives Kevin INSANE!! Not my fault he knocks them over, he should watch where he's going. LOL! Anyway. I'm talking about water because I came across THIS article about bottled water and how it is NOT better than tap water. Uhhhmmmm.....I beg to differ, my friend. They obviously have never tasted our town's water before. F'ing gross!!! I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it's not great unless it's ICE COLD!! I know that bottled water is a bunch of crap, but it sure does taste good and it's so much easier to just grab it from the store's freezer and GO! Know what I mean?

I'm off to watch LOST now. I don't want to stay up, BUT I HAVE TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's LOST for Christ's sake!

I'm seriously thinking about taking some time off from work just till we get the house in order. It sucks to have to leave as soon as Kevin gets home, which means we can't work together. We get things done so much faster that way, you know? We have to go out and get a new kitchen table now that our dining room table is in the dining room. I was thinking of getting one from Target. I like their stuff. We bought a few pieces of furniture from there before we moved in here so we'd have it. None of our furniture matches really, but it all looks good together. We like to have different pieces, it would be boring if everything was the same color and the same style.

Lex is relaxing in his playpen and watching Baby Mozart. It's his morning down time. He'll take a long nap later today. He woke me up at 3 a.m. because his diaper was soaked!!!!!! I felt so bad for him. :( He wears night time diapers, but every now and then he'll soak right through them. He's the Pee Master!! LOL!! It was chilly in his room when I changed him, so I put different jammies on him and he went right back to sleep. I had a hard time waking Raven up for school this morning. She loves to sleep and would sleep all morning if I let her. Another sign that she's becoming a teenager. LOL! She got off to school on time though, thank God!

I'm off to make beds, do some laundry and sweep and mop. That is.....if I don't fall asleep first. Completely exhausted. I need coffee....

Well it's about time we had a nice day! It's beautiful outside!!!!! Lex and I took the dogs for a long walk early this morning and we stopped at the park to let the dogs run a little. It was nice. I actually woke up before little man this morning. I was able to make some tea, shower and get dressed! That doesn't happen often. If I don't have to get up, I won't! I love my sleep. :)

My computer is acting a little weird. Kevin says it's because we didn't install the updates as soon as they came in. It does an automatic software update check for us, if there is new stuff to update, like iTunes, Security and other things, it'll give us the option to "Update Now". It's been a while since I did it. My bad! I've been super busy lately, so that's the last thing I was thinking about. KWIM? So now I have to reinstall the OS X software to see if that helps. It should, but if it doesn't we're taking this thing back and getting a new one. It's practically brand-spankin'-new! I'm about to backup all my pictures and files, then I'm going to do it. What a pain.

Raven called me last night to tell me everything she bought when she went shopping yesterday and she wanted to tell me what she bought for me so bad!!! It's cute the way they try to not tell you, but they hint around and say things like....."You know why I asked you what your favorite smell was? Remeber that?"...Uhhhh.....you bought me perfume?......"YES! How did you know?!" LOL!!! Hilarious. It's so funny talking to her on the phone because she sounds so young, but she doesn't look it. :( She is so tall already. I was, too, but she's going to be a little taller. Her doctor says she'll get to be 5' 11". WOWZERS! She's already lost all her baby teeth, too. That's a big thing. Her dentist says she's got the best teeth he's ever seen. That's because I get on her to brush and floss every day. I don't mess around when it comes to teeth. That comes from my 3 years of being a dental assistant.....I can't help it.

I know it's bad Karma to talk about people or kids, but I just can't help myself, I have to write about this. When Lex and I were at the park I met a woman who had a 7 month old little girl. Cute kid......huge mouth. The biggest mouth I have ever seen on a child. It was hidious. That poor thing will be picked on in school, because that's how kids are, they're mean. -_- Anyway! The kid had her whole fist in her mouth.........disturbing. O_o I can just hear the kids now. I remember when Raven first started school and to be very honest.....she never had any problems. No one picked on her, laughed at her or called her names. That may have been because she is just so beautiful and outgoing. Not a shy bone in her. She loves playing with other kids. Now is a little different. She's in 5th grade and the kids will pick on you for nothing! She's good though. She sticks up for kids and doesn't let anyone get to her. They are just words after all and they're only saying mean things because they're jealous or because they like her. Period!

Ok, well...I better get this stupid computer stuff done, then I'm going to unpack 2 boxes and that's it! Kevin and I are meeting my sister at the park with the kids today since it's so nice out. YAY!!!!! I may be back later to post some pictures. :)

All you want for breakfast is a Moonpie. YUMMMMMMM! I love those things. So hungry today, too. I wish Aunt Flow would hurry up already! I hate PMS. I'm just glad that Kevin is so great about it. He just gets out of my way is he sees I'm having one of "those" days. I haven't had any yet. That may be because I'm so damn happy about our new house, I just don't let anything bother me. KWIM?

I'm going to be painting little man's crib. Not the whole crib, just the spots he ate of. LOL!! I know, that's not really. -_- Hey! It's non-toxic paint! Anyway. Then later on today Kevin and I are going to look for a few things for the house. I don't have to work this week, thank God, so we're spending this week organizing everything! We want to have our housewarming party soon. After this wicked weather goes away. Blah! Mother Nature has lost her mind. It was snowing this morning. That's not normal.

Raven is at my sister's house for a few days. Kevin is going to pick her up early so we can go to the Boston Museum Of Science and The Children's Museum with her. She's been wanting to go, so he wants to take her. I bet little man will love that! He likes being out and about. I can't wait!

I really wish my stuff will hurry up and get here. I can't wait to try it all out! Especially the diaper caddy. It's such a pain having stuff sitting around where it doesn't belong. All the boxes are driving me nuts!! I hate boxes! I've been doing as many as I can a day just to get some done. It's tough with a toddler following me around everywhere. He's learned to open doors, which is scary. I had no idea he could do it, until I caght him sitting at the top of the basement stairs!!!! Gates everywhere, door knob protectors and latches just for him. He's going to give me a heart attack!

I better go relax while he's napping and enjoy the peace and quiet while I can. :)

What A Mess!!!!!

Lex made a huge mess while eating lunch today! He was shoving the noddle o's in his mouth as fast as he could! You would think I was starving him. LOL! I'm not....really. :) He ate a whole can of chicken & noddle o's, 4 club crackers and a few chunks of apple I had cut up for him. He drank a sippy cup full of milk, too. He loves to eat!
