It was great! Raven was invited to a slumber party Friday, so she came home from school, did her homework, did her chores, played with Lex for a bit and then she was gone! :) Saturday morning Kevin took me and Lex out to breakfast at The Cracker Barrel. YUMMY!! I love that place. After breakfast we went to Linens-N-Things to get a few chairs for the deck. Then we headed over to Pier 1 to get some of my favorite candles and while we were there Kevin bought me a new set of canisters. Look at how awesome these things are.........

We got the green ones and we also got the matching foot stools. They are so comfy!!!!! We needed something for everyone to sit on, we had nothing! LOL! All the patio sets we've looked at were kind of ugly, so we haven't gotten one yet. I guess they don't cater to the morbid when it comes to patio furniture. LOL!! We like crazy looking stuff like gargoyles and grotesque.......and they just don't make stuff like that around here. We may have to look online. Anyway! Later on that day a friend of mine came over and we sat outside drinking wine and laughing all day. Kevin took Lex out to get a new pair of sandals so Kym and I could have some "girl time". It was nice. :) After she left Kevin and I made dinner and we sat around watching movies with Lex. He loves Shrek!!! He did not take his eyes off the t.v. once during the whole movie. The boy goes insane if he sees Shrek somewhere! He'll squeal and point then he'll "talk" to whatever it is that has Shrek on it for the longest time. So cute! ♥ That night I went to bed early because my whole family was coming over on Sunday, so I needed the sleep. :) We got up bright and early Sunday morning to go shopping for a few things. Raven talked us into getting Grease and Grease 2. -_- I hate those movies, but if she wants a movie, Kevin will get it for her.....all she has to do is ask. :) When we got home and my sister was pulling in at the same time as we were. HAH! She drives way too fast. We just sat around talking and playing with the kids. After we ate we walked to the park for a while. It was beautiful out, but it was a bit windy. We wore the kids out!! Lex slept till 7:30 this morning. I actually had to wake him up so we could take Raven to school. He wasn't happy about that. Anyway! I got a few nice things that I've been wanting and a few things I wasn't expecting. Kevin and Raven got me some new earrings from Lucky Brand, I love their stuff! I also got some new slippers and a gift card to the mall so I can get some Summer clothes. Everything I have is too big for me now. :/

That was my weekend. It was sooooo nice and relaxing. I can't wait to do it again next weekend! Kevin is going away for work and my Mom is coming up to help with the kids. I was thinking of having some of my girl friends over Saturday afternoon and just hanging out. Raven would love that!! She loves hangin' with the girls. :) Ava took her to get a manicure and a pedicure last week and Raven was in Heaven! I've had all the same friends since Raven was 2, so they all treat her as if she were theirs. Especially the girls who don't have kids. LOL! They come to me to get their "kid fix". LOL! And Raven is so well behaved and mature for her age, so they love having her around. :)

Ok. Gotta got get ready for our Playdate. Oh yeah! I forgot to add that Lex and I had a playdate on Friday! OMG it was so much fun! All the Mothers were nice and all the kids got a long so well. Lex played like a big boy and he was so good about sharing. So we have another one to go to today at Noon. YAY!!! I don't take pictures while we're there because of the other kids. I don't think the moms would like that too much. LOL!! Ok. I'm off!

The weekend has come and gone and I am so ready for bed. My sister came up with 4 of her kids, so you can say we had a very busy day Saturday. It was so nice just to hang out and talk. She lives so darn far away!! We don't get to see each other that often, so we make the most of the visits we do have together. We took the kids to the park and they had a blast. Lex actually had a great time. He loved it! His favorite thing was the sandbox. He loved it!! I couldn't get him out of it. He only tried to eat the sand once, I think that was enough. LOL!! He gagged when he got it in his mouth and then he shivered from head to toe. HILARIOUS!!! Poor kid. He didn't try to eat it again though! Raven couldn't believe that I let him put sand in his mouth. First of all, I didn't let him do anything, he was too fast. Anyway, I'm a firm believer that kids learn quick and I knew that he wouldn't like the taste and therefore he wouldn't try to eat it again. Then she got this look on my face like she knew I had done the same thing to her when she was a baby. LOL!!! Kids!

I just spent way too much money online. I couldn't stop myself. I bought a toolbox diaper caddy from rightstart.com, XXX lip shine & Goddess eye shadow from Urban Decay, then I clicked on over to Sephora.com and bought some LipVenom 2nd Sin and Benetint. Then I remembered that I needed some new oil burners and oils from The Body Shop, so I got a few things there. I can't forget my Lavender and Vanilla pillow spray from Bath & Body Works, so I got that plus some more antibacterial soaps. I think I'm done now. At least I bought stuff for the house as well and not just for myself. LOL! I'm not that bad. Here are the things I bought.....

My stomach has been bothering me for the past 2 days now and I had no idea why. Then it dawned on me......it's the Coke Zero I've been drinking lately. I just started drinking it 2 days ago and it's making me sick. Great.  Guess I'll stick to regular Coke and Dr. Pepper. That's what I get for trying something new. -_-  I should have known better.

Kevin is out of town for the weekend. So it's just me and the kids. :) I took Raven to school this morning to register her and everyone was out sick and the woman filling in had no idea what to do, so now we have to wait till after Spring Break. Raven was crushed! So to make her feel better we stopped at the park on the way home from the school. It's literally 5 minutes from our house. Lex wasn't too impressed with it though. He seemed scared of the big plastic dinosaurs. I showed him that they were for climbing, but I don't think he cared. He had just woken up from his nap, so maybe that had something to do with it.

My sister is coming to see the new house this weekend. I'm excited. I haven't seen her in a while, so it'll be a nice visit. I'm waiting for my brother to get here so we can go get the crib, then he's going to put it together for me. I put that thing together when I was almost 9 months pregnant and I'm not doing it again! What a pain.

What a weekend! Kevin and I were going nonstop! We went out together twice, saw a movie, packed and moved tons of stuff all weekend. I was at the house cleaning all day yesterday while Kevin brought stuff over. I'm sore and exhausted. Raven came over and helped out and we went shopping for a few things at Target. I bought garden Gnomes. HEHEHEE!! Every house needs a Gnome!! LOL! Here are the two I got.....

It's been a very long day. Poor Lex has been miserable for the past week. First it was the rash, (which BTW turned out not to be a food allergy! UGH! That's a whole different story!) and now his molars are cutting through. It's sad to watch him pull on his ears till they turn red. :( I keep massaging his head, neck and back and that seems to help a little. He's had bad diarrhea too which caused a diaper rash to come and go. I keep letting him soak in the tub, which is why it's not as bad as it could be. He was all clear today, thankfully! I wish that there was something I could do for him, besides the obvious. I only give him Teething Tablets (those things are a must have!!) if he seems very uncomfortable, which is mostly right before his early afternoon nap and bedtime. They work like a charm! If he's super uncomfortable I'll give him some Motrin. He woke up last night at 3 a.m. crying because he was in so much pain. It was awful. :( He was exhausted but couldn't sleep because of the pain.I gave him some Motrin and rocked him back to sleep. He slept from 3:30 p.m. till 7:45 p.m. today, then fell back to sleep at 9:30. He needs it!
