That I feel very, very blessed to have 2 such wonderful children in my life. They have been given to me as a gift and no matter what happens, I will cherish them. Nothing will stand in my way of enjoying my children to the fullest. I don't care how much stress I am under, what kind of problems I have in my life and I don't care what medical issues I have, I will not feel sorry for myself. There are people in this world who have it far worse than we do. I have, and will continue, to love every second of my hectic, yet beautiful life.❤

One of our Mommies from JM lost her little baby today. Calypso Paikea Rhyder grew her wings today 7/7/07. :( My heart goes out to the Melissa and her family.

Today was DAY 1 of my 10 days of work and everything was going great! I actually had a lot of fun. Until my darling husband called. Here's how the conversation went......

Kevin got me an early birthday present!

 

I had the same sunglasses, but they were the cheap knockoffs from one of those kiosk at the mall. These aren't knockoffs, these are real Prada! Geesh! I told him he's crazy for buying me these! His response..."I got you a case to put them in."...Uh...ok! But that doesn't change the fact that our toddler has an obsession with Mommies sunglasses, that's why I buy the cheap ones, 2 for $20! LOL!! I have 8. :/ He's broken 2 of them already. I will only be wearing the new ones on special occasions, not everyday. I love them!!♥

 

So yeah, my birthday is next Sunday, I'll be 33!!! I used to worry about 33 because 3 used to be my unlucky number, but that all changed once I gave birth to Lex. He's my lucky 3.....born on 03/03/06, he weighed 9 pounds and was 21 1/2 inches long..................if that's not lucky 3's, then I don't know what is. My little boy broke the "3" curse. :) It's going to be a great year.♥

Only for 10 days though. :) My friend called me and asked me to come back to work and run the store while she's in South Carolina next week. The perks.......15 an hour and the use of the company car....a Mini Cooper! WOOT!! WOOT!! It'll be sooo nice to be at the store where it's quiet. LOL!! I can't wait to see some of the dogs, I miss them! The customers, too, but more the dogs. :) ♥

It's just not hot enough to be sitting outside by pool, and it just started raining. Boo! That's ok, we're going to take the kids out to eat for an early dinner. And I do mean early! Lex is napping right now, which means he'll wake up around 2 or 3 and we'll leave right away. I'm waiting for the kitchen floor to dry so I can mop it one more time. I've become so anal about cleaning. I used to never be like this. Now, when I clean, I really clean!! I even clorox the corners, wipe it up with a hot towel and then mop. I like my kitchen tiles to stay white. It doesn't help that Lex will eat anything off the floors, so I have to keep them spotless!! LOL!!!

I can't believe it's already the 4th of July. That's insane! Life is just zipping by! :/ Anway. We're heading over to my sister's house today for a cookout and swimming. Raven is excited because all her cousins will be there. That's a lot of cousins! LOL!I've got some cleaning to do before we leave, but everyone is still sleeping, so I've got some time. Kevin and Raven didn't get home until 10:45 last night! The went to watch the fireworks at the park in downtown W., which is always a big deal. Tons of people show up every year. It's always a blast! I can't wait till Lex is old enjoy to sit and enjoy the fireworks. He just doesn't want to sit down at all right now. He's always on the go, he's a busy boy!❤

This cold/flu or whatever it is, is kicking my butt. I feel like I could sleep all day, my chest hurts, ears hurt, head hurts and my throat is the worse! Lex is still sick, too, but he's doing a little better. We went to our friend's 4th of July party today, which is also his mother's birthday, and by 7:30 I felt like I was ready to fall over. I kept drinking cup after cup of tea and I still felt like crap. We had wanted to stay till after the fireworks, but then Lex started to get cranky, so I knew it was time to go. He can not be taken off his schedule one bit!!! He has to be in bed by 7, 8 is the latest. So Kevin drove us home and Raven stayed and played with the other kids. As soon as we walked in the door Lex went right into the bathroom and started undressing. LOL!! He knows what to do. He likes to have his bath, then he gets a baby massage while I put his bedtime lotion on, then he walks upstairs and goes straight to his crib. Sometimes he'll try and make a run for our bed, but I'm too fast for him! LOL! He thinks that's funny, and it is. :) He loves bedtime though, thank God!

Lex loves Blues Clues!! He can't get enough of that show! If he wants to watch it, he'll bring me his Blue doll and say....."Un dis! Un dis!" SO CUTE!!! Thank God for Charter On Demand! It's always there and I don't even have to think it about. No recording or anything like that.There are always 5 episodes to watch and they change them once a week. I did go to the iTunes store and bought 2 episodes. :) He loves them so much! He used to only watch Baby Einstein, but now he watches Blues Clues, The Wonder Pets, The Mickey Mouse CLub House and Little Einsteins. OH! And he absolutely LOVES Go, Baby!!! That's a really cute show. It only last a few minutes though. :/ Once he hears the Go, Baby music, he drops what he's doing grabs my hand and we sit and watch it.❤
